just a few more...

Rosh Ha Shanah Cards...

Yes, this post is a little behind the times, but i thought i'd post a few of my cards from October since i am SO desperatly behind! These ones i sold at the stall.. they were a hit! I made the apples slices and the honey dipper using FIMO. and the for the honey i used glue with food colouring. It turned out real well. (Apples and honey are the sympbol for Rosh Ha Shanah (the Jewish New Year) for those who didnt know.) And for these Shanah Tovah (Happy New Year) cards i also used FIMO for the grapes and the grapevine. The grapes and leaves actually took a lot of time to make, but they were worth it!

Our craft stall......

This was fun! Heather (a good friend of mine) and I decided to sell a few of our handmade gifts and a few of my cards at a holiday stall in one of the nearby malls. I was so glad for the experience! And it turned out to be alot of fun. We both had good sales by the end of the day, and had gotten to know each other a whole lot more too as we sat there from early morning till late in the evening. What a blessing!

and a few for the little guys...

I intend to do a collection of 'number' birthday cards up to year 5. For both boys and girls.

babies...

As you can see, there is a lack of sunshine in my courtyard today, so the background of the photos are VERY dark.. a shame we dont have photo shop! Anyhow, here are just a few baby cards i made over the weekend. Like always, im pleased with some, and not so pleased with others.

I apologize again for the terrible photography.

Im back!

Hi there,
wow! its been a while since last posting.
But I'm finally back in action. We've had weddings and parties and alsorts lately, so ive been thrown back into creating with full motivation (just not as much time).
Here is one of the cards to begin this 'new season' of card making. It was for my brother-in-law's wedding.
Will be posting many more soon!

A pearl...

Wow, its been a while since last posting! Its been a very busy period for us as of late.

Yesterday I was asked if I could make a card using a 'pearl', so i put this one together. I feel as though my inspiration has left me a bit as I'm now suffering slight morning sickness... yes, we have number 2 on the way! What a blessing!

But for near future im just taking it one day at a time, resting as much as poss, and trying to preserve every last ounce of energy for my wee 8 month old. And yippee, he's crawling!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Amy

More Jars!

The inspirations just kept coming... and so did the jars!
I threw together some YUMMY choco delights, layered them and here we have it, a hot choco drink for a cold winters night.
I wasnt quite sure where the label looked best, so excuse the lack of presentation. I'm still just giving it all a go! :-)

I woke up this morning inspired to have a bit of creative fun in the kitchen, and somehow these cute wee 'gifts in jars' came to mind and action! I have a fantastic recipe for cinnamon and honey granola, so i threw it together, popped it in these jars, layered it with dried fruit. And Vwala!

Now I just have to think of someone to give them to! ;-)

Here are a few recent ones. I've really only had a few days here and there to be able to sit on my cards this week. We've had family here for the past 2 months, so in between traveling, being a mummy and a hostess for 4 others, I've managed to make the odd one or two.

I made these two handbag cards for my darling wee nieces who both have a birthday coming up! They always seem to be holding a bright and sparkly handbag in their hot little hands, so I thought that this would be just perfect for them!
